“Sex sells” has become the mantra used by top entertainers and their handlers all over the world. No important artiste in the new world does anything without sexual lyrics, erotic dance and nudity. Beyonce, a married woman, gave the world her nudity while performing at the 2014 Grammy Awards.
The media helped her out by calling it a wardrobe malfunction! Miley Cyrus became the toast of world media just by twerking! Back home in Nigeria, the likes of Cossy Orjiakor, Maheeda and Afro Candy owe their celeb status to nothing else but sex oriented contents! This is because the moral system of the world is being suffocated with the pillow of liberalism. Mankind has embarked on a sex driven journey and this mission dictates and rules everything! You can’t make box office hit or sell platinum if you don’t have sexual contents imbeded into your work. This development has created the new sex slaves. Unfortunately, these slaves are celebrities! Kanye West in his New Slaves song said: I Know That We Are The New Slaves. A sex Slave is some one you buy for the purpose of having sex with any time, any day! Most Celebrities of today are sex symbols, take it or leave it, millions of their fans have sex with these sex symbols in their minds while watching them on TV. Today, a female Singer will have to go nude or show a sizable part of her privates to become the most talked about or most popular Artiste. This is because the artiste is trying to please the sex driven society who he or she has become a Slave to without knowing it. These days artistes have to add some erotic or mystical lyrics to sell because it is believed that sex sells so if you want to become a best seller, you must give the buyers or fans-the new Slave Masters- what they want! When it comes to entertainment, Man has become numb to just creativity but has become very sensitive to sex and profanity! So to make an impact, you must be a genius in using these. The likes of Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Rihanna have completely become living sacrifices on the alter of the spirit of sex! These artistes are the personification of what man has become! Their erotic works are consumed massively by millions of people because they are serving them exactly what they want and how they actually want it. That’s why their shows sell out. One would think they are lucky but the truth is, they are sex slaves to the insatiable sexual cravings of the human race! At this juncture, I zip my lips!
